A jewel beetle (Chrysochoa fulminans) thickly plated in bright copper. Well sealed with jeweler's epoxy over the wings to protect the beetle from moisture.
Note: Even though this is sealed, this will still be fragile. This ring is not meant to be worn while swimming or bathing. And while the beetle's elytra wings are very hard and durable, they will crack if too much pressure is put on them.
